Horror books by Asian authors you should add to your TBR

With May being Asian heritage month I wanted to create a post that talks about horror books by Asian authors. As many of you very well know I am a big horror fan. I’m always looking for new books to read and I do think the horror genre needs to be diversified. I want to make sure that everyone is aware of all of the authors in this genre. They deserve it!

You don’t often hear about many horror books by Asian authors. At least you don’t hear about those that are in English. I just hope I’m not missing any!

Summer Horror Movies for a good scare

School is almost out for summer and that means that the kids are going to need something to do! For this situation, I do mean kids that are at an appropriate age. And that is as long as you’re okay with them watching it as well. This summer horror movies list isn’t just for those getting out of school.

This list is for adults as well because I know there are a lot of you who probably like horror movies year-round. I love when they revolve around the summer because they shouldn’t just revolve around Halloween and fall. Hopefully, you enjoy these horror movies as much as I do!

Haunted House Movies worth watching

Are you a big fan of haunted house movies? If you’re here I’m assuming you are! Or you could be just looking for more things to watch. Either way, I’m hoping some of these are movies you have never seen before. Granted you may have at least heard of them before but just haven’t gotten to them. If that’s the case then this is your sign to get your butt up and watch them.

All of these movies are ones that I have seen before. Some I have really enjoyed while others I may not have enjoyed so much. I usually always include stuff that I may not have enjoyed because who knows, you may enjoy it a lot more than I did. Not only that I really enjoy creating a variety on my lists because not everyone is going to enjoy the same things as me. Life would be boring if that was the case.

About Psycho Hose Beast from Outer Space:

Nothing has happened in Newfoundland, Canada in nearly thirty years since the military abandoned the base. That is unless you count Tuesday night 2-for-1 video rentals. When a body is found in the town water supply it’s assumed that it was just an accident.

Books like Hunger Games and Divergent

Growing up I was such a big fan of Hunger Games and Divergent. Granted I didn’t get to them until I was in high school but I’m so happy that they came around when I was young. It was so beneficial to me to be able to read books that actually have strong women. I have never been a strong person. At least I don’t feel like I have ever been. So, it was nice getting to read a book where there were women my age that are actually strong. Seeing (or rather reading) that sort of thing made me want to be as strong as they are. I wanted to learn and be able to kick butt. Because of that I wanted to create a post of books like hunger games and divergent for those who want more!

Books with Serial Killers for true-crime lovers

Are you a big true crime junky? Or are you just fascinated with serial killers like I am? Hopefully, you don’t think that’s morbid. I’m always interested in why exactly they do what they do. What exactly makes their brain more rewired than the rest of us to have these impulses? That’s what always grabs my attention. Figuring out what makes their brain tick is always interesting even though what they want to do is always horrible. Because of this I always find myself interested in books about serial killers. I don’t care if they are fiction or nonfiction even though most of the ones I have been reading lately are actually fiction.
