Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World! With there being a lot of readers out there I want to be able to give everyone another option of where to get books. I’m getting to the point where I’m getting tired of putting money into someone’s pocket that makes three times as someone who owns an independent book store. I’d rather put my money towards someone who actually needs it and it probably struggling right now because of covid. If I’m like that then I’m sure there are even more people out there who feel the same way. Eventually, I’m going to do a post on alternatives of Amazon but first I want to bring up Bookshop. What is Bookshop? And exactly do they help independently owned stores?

Books with a Christmas theme
Can you guys believe that Christmas is almost here? As Christmas is vastly approaching I know a lot of readers want books with a Christmas theme. Every year it always crosses my mind what books with a Christmas theme are out there. A lot of the same Christmas books are pushed every year in my opinion. So we need a little bit of variety. I also want to make sure to include that the books that I recommend aren’t your typical Hallmark type of book. Why? They are typically what everyone goes for. That’s okay but I know there are some readers out there like me who aren’t really a fan of the cheesy Christmas books!

Best books of 2021 that should be on your bookshelf
Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World! Today I’m wanting to talk about the best books of 2021. All of these books I have read and LOVED so I have to share them with you. Most of these books are going to be horror and thriller because that’s mostly what I read. If that’s what you enjoy as well then great! If not then let me know in the comments what some of your favorites are!

I feel like this year I have a lot more to add to my favorite list. I’m not really sure if that’s because this year I was a little lenient or if I was better at picking books I knew I would enjoy. Or maybe it’s a little bit of both because COVID has made me realize I shouldn’t be so harsh and be a little particular about what I pick up. What have been some of the best books of 2021 to you?

December 2021 book releases to add to your TBR
Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World. Today I’m bringing you another post of new book releases. This post is all about December 2021 book releases. I not only find this helpful for readers but for me as well. Before doing these types of posts I realized that I missed out on a lot of books that would’ve caught my interest sooner. Not that I really need to buy any more books, but I do like knowing what’s out there and maybe I can eventually get to them.

Do you like looking up books that are coming out soon? I find that if I don’t I miss out on a lot of books that I would have really liked. I get that I can’t read everything but I do like to stay on top of it. Who knows if I wasn’t looking them up then I could potentially be missing out on a lot of books I would have really liked. Or I don’t find out about the book until months or potentially years later.

Gift Ideas for Book Lovers
Hey everyone, and welcome to Owl Book World! Today I’m talking about gift ideas for book lovers. I know there are some people out there who don’t like to give books as gifts. That’s mostly because they don’t know what books the person already has. I totally get that. It’s hard to buy for readers who have most of the books that they want. Or it could be that you don’t really know what genres they like.
Unless you know what book your book lover absolutely wants, then I would definitely recommend going a different route. These gifts are great Christmas gift ideas for book lovers, or you can use any of these suggestions for birthday gifts or anniversary gifts.
Before growing up and being able to buy my own things, I would have loved some of these ideas. Granted, some of these things weren’t very popular fifteen years ago when I couldn’t get a job and pay for it. I do wish they were, though!
