Inspirational Fiction Books to add hope to your life

Welcome to Owl Book World! For the past couple of months, I have been interested in inspirational fiction books or just inspirational books in general. The last year I have noticed that I haven’t been happy. With covid, a lot has been happening and I’m sure a lot of people are getting depressed just as much as I am. It’s not fun and I’m sure there are just as many people who are getting fed up with it as much as I am. Back in November and December, I started noticing that reading feel-good books or books that just overall inspires you was actually making me feel better.

I know reading feel-good books to make you feel better really isn’t anything new. But a lot of people don’t really think about it or they think it really won’t help. To me, it’s worth a shot to get our mindset back where it needs to be.

Every once in a while I do read inspirational fiction books I just never read many self-help books. But that has changed a lot over the past couple of months. Why? Being negative was getting old and was taking a huge toll on my mental health. I was getting to the point where I was never happy. I was getting burnt out on blogging, burnt out on reading, and I was getting mad over every little thing. It’s getting old and I don’t like being so unhappy.

Reading Journal for book lovers

So many people out there are huge readers. If you’re here then you’re obviously one of them (or at least close). For a while now I have wanted my own personal reading journal to keep track of what I’m reading. Why? Because there have been many times I have accidentally bought the same book twice. Yes, I know, how exactly does that happen? Trust me it happens A LOT (and not just with me). So, I know a lot of readers use reading journals to keep track of their books. Instead, I’m keeping the books that I have read. I know there are apps out there for this sort of thing, but there are times I don’t really like depending on them. A lot of readers use a platform like Goodreads because it’s popular and convenient. But here is why I don’t like them.

Blogging goals and reading goals for 2022

Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World! Today I’m talking about my blogging goals and reading goals for 2022. I’m hoping to use this as a way to hold myself accountable with my blog. I’ve been blogging for three years now and there’s a part of me that feels like it’s going nowhere. Don’t get me wrong I do want blogging to be fun. But I also want to be able to grow and make money for it. Making money from book blogging is such a touchy subject within the community. I don’t get why making money with it is such an issue because we put so much work into it. Bloggers put a lot of work into what they do. And we basically promote things for free while others are paid for their work.

That’s beside the point though. I want to build a community with my blog. I also want to make friends with those who read the same thing as me. After all of these years, I still feel like I’m not really connecting with other bloggers. I just hope I can strive for it! Granted not really connecting with others is partly my fault. I struggle to find a good balance between working on my blog and spending time with my family. This hinders me actually connecting with others on social media. This year it’s time to do better and be better.
