Best books of 2021 that should be on your bookshelf

Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World! Today I’m wanting to talk about the best books of 2021. All of these books I have read and LOVED so I have to share them with you. Most of these books are going to be horror and thriller because that’s mostly what I read. If that’s what you enjoy as well then great! If not then let me know in the comments what some of your favorites are!

Best books of 2021

I feel like this year I have a lot more to add to my favorite list. I’m not really sure if that’s because this year I was a little lenient or if I was better at picking books I knew I would enjoy. Or maybe it’s a little bit of both because COVID has made me realize I shouldn’t be so harsh and be a little particular about what I pick up. What have been some of the best books of 2021 to you?

November 2021 Book Releases to add to your TBR

Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World! Today I’m talking about what November 2021 book releases you should add to your TBR! Some of these I should be starting soon so make sure to sign up for my newsletter so you can get an update on how these books are!

Do you guys like looking up what books come out each month? I hate to say it but most of the time doing these sorts of posts really makes me want to buy more books, but I also really like to stay updated on what books are coming out. Hopefully, once I’m able to get my TBR down some I can start going through some of these books and get them to read as well. I swear the amount of new releases can be a bit overwhelming but that’s why we need to start DNFing (did not finish) books we really don’t like.

Most Overrated Books from recent years

Most Overrated Books

Hey everyone! Today I’m writing a post of the most overrated books that I’ve read. This is my opinion and my opinion only. These are all books that I’ve read and just didn’t really like. I feel like I would have liked these titles so much more if they weren’t such overhyped books. Typically when I read something that a lot of people really liked I end up not liking it much at all. I’m sure it’s this way for a lot of readers.

Trigger Warnings for books

Should Trigger Warnings be included?

[lwptoc]

Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World! Today I wanted to talk about trigger warnings. What are trigger warnings? Are they spoilers? And what are the benefits/disadvantages of having them? Trigger warnings seem to be a pretty heated discussion with readers, especially those who like to read horror books. I’ve probably seen more people who are against trigger warnings than those who are for them. Even though I understand why I also want to talk about why they can be beneficial.

A lot of people seem to think that trigger warnings are spoilers and that they seem to give away too much. I do kind of get that and I understand why some people wouldn’t want to see them. But I can also see the perks of it especially when readers have the opportunity to decide if they want to read it or not. Read more “Trigger Warnings for books”
