Supernatural books that will make you watch your back

If you’re here then I’m assuming you love supernatural books! I don’t just mean books based on the supernatural series.

Some of the books I’m including are scary supernatural books, while others are more fantasy-based. Either way, all of these books have something supernatural about them one way or another.

Supernatural books have always been a staple in my life. I can’t even remember when I started watching them and reading them.

To be honest I don’t know if I really believe in it but I do love reading about it. It’s hard to imagine what’s really there in life after death. Is there really anything? Or are we just all fascinated with something that we don’t know much about except we all go through it.

I wanted to include them because they are popular for a reason.

Summer Horror Movies for a good scare

School is almost out for summer and that means that the kids are going to need something to do! For this situation, I do mean kids that are at an appropriate age. And that is as long as you’re okay with them watching it as well. This summer horror movies list isn’t just for those getting out of school.

This list is for adults as well because I know there are a lot of you who probably like horror movies year-round. I love when they revolve around the summer because they shouldn’t just revolve around Halloween and fall. Hopefully, you enjoy these horror movies as much as I do!

Haunted House Movies worth watching

Are you a big fan of haunted house movies? If you’re here I’m assuming you are! Or you could be just looking for more things to watch. Either way, I’m hoping some of these are movies you have never seen before. Granted you may have at least heard of them before but just haven’t gotten to them. If that’s the case then this is your sign to get your butt up and watch them.

All of these movies are ones that I have seen before. Some I have really enjoyed while others I may not have enjoyed so much. I usually always include stuff that I may not have enjoyed because who knows, you may enjoy it a lot more than I did. Not only that I really enjoy creating a variety on my lists because not everyone is going to enjoy the same things as me. Life would be boring if that was the case.

Horror Books by black authors

Are you a horror fan and have been wanting to diverse your books a little bit? Today’s post is all about horror books by black authors. I have been wanting to do a post that revolves around horror books by black authors for a while now. Horror is one of my favorite genres but it’s not that often I actually come across a horror book by a black author. I’m not completely sure if there just aren’t many who write in this genre or if there just aren’t many who are published yet. But I am determined to read more by authors who aren’t white.

Christmas Horror Books

Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World! With Christmas rolling around the corner I wanted to be able to talk about Christmas Horror Books.

I know Christmas is supposed to be happy and have Christmas spirit. On top of that, it’s usually the time for good-natured books that revolve around Christmas. Those types of books are not for me.

Christmas Horror Books

Don’t get me wrong though I do love happy books ones that revolved around Christmas are a bit cheesy to me. Granted I feel like part of that reasoning is working in retail because I always enjoyed Christmas before then. No, I rely on scary Christmas books to kind of get my little taste of Christmas.

Middle-Grade Horror Books that will chill you to the bone

Hey everyone, and welcome to Owl Book World! Today, I’m writing a list of Middle-Grade Horror Books for kids who are just starting with horror. This list is also super helpful for those who already like horror and just want more books to read. On top of that, if you’re older (than a middle-schooler) and want to ease into horror, these may be the perfect books to start with. Yes, they are scary books for tweens, but starting with books for a younger audience can be very helpful because they aren’t as bad as books for older audiences.

Young Adult Horror Books that are jaw droppingly scary

Welcome to Owl Book World! If you’re new here, then my name is Kaili. Today, I’m talking about young adult horror books that you really should be adding to your TBR. Whether you’re looking for a book for yourself or looking for a book for a teenager in your life, these are all excellent books.

This is a post that I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, because it seems like some readers genuinely didn’t know that there are young adult horror books out there. Or there are readers out there who kind of want to dig their toes into the genre, but they don’t exactly want to read anything super scary. That’s why I wanted to create this post. There seem to be a lot of people who don’t know where to start when it comes to horror, and they don’t want to read something pretty extreme. I can’t say that I blame them because the genre can be a bit overwhelming.
