Journaling has been around for ages. Some use it to talk about their feelings or how their days went. Some are using it for memory keeping, and I’m sure there are so many more things out there that people use their journals for. So what should you journal about?

2025 Reflections and how I want to change things in 2026

Reflecting on my year of 2025 and how I want things to change in 2026. What are some things you want to change?

I know that I’m a little late with this post on my 2025 reflections, but I figured it was better late than never. I’m not sure if many of you do yearly reflections, and typically, I don’t either. 2025 is the year that I’m doing a reflection for. I’m kind of wanting things to change a little bit for 2026. I feel like a lot has happened in 2025, and I’m unsure whether that’s a good thing or not.

How to make 2026 your year

Over the past couple of years, I feel as if I’ve been just strolling through life. I can’t remember the things that I’ve done, and I’m going to be honest, I don’t really like how the past two years have been going. I’ve been stressed, overeating, not feeling that great, and just overall disassociating most of the days that pass by. It’s honestly making me mad and a little bit sad at the same time. My two kids are young, and these years don’t last very long. I want to make the most of these years and not grow old and have to tell them I don’t know, I don’t remember that. So what are some ways on how to make 2026 your year if you’ve kind of been in the same boat?

Bullet Journal your way to organization

I learned what a bullet journal is a couple of years ago and fell in love with it! For a while now I have found myself struggling to find a planner I will stick with. I have found so many of them that I liked but then after using them for maybe a couple of months I decided that I don’t like them anymore. I don’t know what it is about them that makes me want to stop using them after so long. It probably has nothing to do with the planner itself but it’s me with the problem.

Journal prompts for mental health

It seems like over the past few years mental health problems have been on the rise. Not a whole lot of people are happy and enjoying their lives. We spend most of our lives on social media, phones, and computers. Prices for things are at an all-time high. Despite this, there are ways to change our circumstances. We can at least change the way we think and our mindset. Journaling is a good way to help with this and having journaling prompts can help with what we need to talk about. But if you don’t know what to talk about when it comes to journaling then having journal prompts can help with that tremendously.

What are journal prompts?

Journal prompts are questions that you give yourself to answer in your journal. I know there are a lot of times that when I try to journal I don’t know exactly what to talk about. But there are also a lot of times when I feel like I’m constantly repeating myself when I write in my journal.

I don’t want to constantly vent about the same thing or repeat about the things that I want to accomplish. That’s the great thing about having journal prompts! Unless you’re just wanting to use journaling to vent, then it would be a different story. Otherwise, I feel like journaling should kind of help you out and help you figure out where you should go next.

Journaling and its benefits for mental health and goals

For as long as I remember I have always enjoyed journaling. For the most part, I have always used it to talk about my day or vent about what was going on in my day. Those were really good ideas at the time. That’s mostly because writing in my journal is like being able to talk to a friend and just letting all of my emotions out. At that time that’s how journaling helped me.
