Hey everyone! Today I’m writing a post of the most overrated books that I’ve read. This is my opinion and my opinion only. These are all books that I’ve read and just didn’t really like. I feel like I would have liked these titles so much more if they weren’t such overhyped books. Typically when I read something that a lot of people really liked I end up not liking it much at all. I’m sure it’s this way for a lot of readers.

Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World! Today I wanted to talk about trigger warnings. What are trigger warnings? Are they spoilers? And what are the benefits/disadvantages of having them? Trigger warnings seem to be a pretty heated discussion with readers, especially those who like to read horror books. I’ve probably seen more people who are against trigger warnings than those who are for them. Even though I understand why I also want to talk about why they can be beneficial.
A lot of people seem to think that trigger warnings are spoilers and that they seem to give away too much. I do kind of get that and I understand why some people wouldn’t want to see them. But I can also see the perks of it especially when readers have the opportunity to decide if they want to read it or not. Read more “Trigger Warnings for books”

Hey everyone and welcome to Owl Book World. Reading slumps are something that I’ve been wanting to talk about for a while now. A lot of bloggers talk about reading slumps like they are a bad thing. In a way I guess they sometimes can be especially if reading is your only hobby. Or it can potentially be a bad thing if you have a lot of ARCs (advanced reader copies) that are going to be published soon.
If published dates aren’t coming up soon then a reading slump could potentially be a good thing. Why? Well you’ll just have to keep reading in order to find out! Read more “Reading slumps and how they can be a good thing”
