My bookish Goals for 2025

2025 is going to be different when it comes to my reading goals. I want my bookish goals for 2025 to come as close as I can to accomplishing them. I have been in such a rut with reading over the past year but I know that can be partly because of my daughter being born. So it’s been a little hard.

Have you guys been struggling as much as I have when it comes to reading? Other than my daughter being born I have also noticed that I have been struggling to connect with books and characters as well.

Over 2025 I’m going to try and update as much as I can on Instagram!

My bookish goals for 2025

Let me know in the comments what your goals are!

  • Read 60 books
  • Read more horror books
  • Get out of my comfort genre
  • Go to more book clubs
  • Set up my TBR for the year (This will be books on my trolly that I want to get to in 2025)
  • Connect with more readers
  • Read more fantasy books
  • Get my Netgalley shelf down (this is where bloggers get advanced books)
  • Buy no more books until I read 20 books off of my bookshelf
  • Stick to keeping up my reading journal
  • Have more buddy reads
  • Listen to more audiobooks
  • Read more books to my kids
  • Actually, write the review when I finish the book (within 48 hours at least)
  • Keep track of the books that I read throughout the year
  • Donate some books to the little free library
  • Have a book-buying ban for 2025
  • Visit a new bookstore
  • Go to an author signing
  • Spend one day a week reading all-day
  • Use the library more often for books to read

I’m hoping that I can accomplish my bookish goals for 2025 because I’m tired of being in a reading rut. If any of you guys need an accountability partner then let me know!!
