Summer Horror Books that will scare your pants off

Summer is almost here even though it already feels like it’s here. At least it feels like it does here in the South. With the weather getting up to almost ninety degrees it is HOT!! So, why not go ahead and create a summer horror books list? These are some of the best summer horror books to read by the pool or on the beach.

I can’t help but be happy that summer horror books are a thing. Horror is one of my favorite genres, but I don’t always want to read the ones that revolve around Halloween and fall. I’m sure some of you guys are the same way too.

Books About School Shootings that will change your perspective

I know most of you guys are probably wondering why exactly am I creating a books about school shootings list. They are horrible situations that seem to be a pretty common thing in America now. I hate to admit that it seems to be a more common thing. It shouldn’t be happening at all but it does.

So, why am I doing this post? I think reading about this kind of thing brings awareness to the situation. Everyone needs a little bit of awareness about it and how to handle it. Granted most of these books are fictional but they give you an idea about what happens and what they go through.

Horror Movies for beginners that’ll scare your pants off

Have you been wanting to try and watch horror movies but you don’t know where to start? I have accumulated a list of horror movies for beginners that is perfect for those who don’t know where to start. Most of these movies do have a little bit of gore, but they aren’t as bad compared to other movies. Most of these movies are pretty popular and are very well known. I wanted to include them because they are popular for a reason.

Thrillers by Asian Authors to add to your bookshelf

With it being Asian heritage month I wanted to shed some light on Asian horror and thriller writers. My last post was all about horror books by Asian authors. Now this one is going to be all about thrillers by Asian authors.

They deserve the attention and I have slowly realized that I really haven’t read many books by Asians. I want that to change. I just hope within the next year or so I can find books by them in the genres I love! Let’s get to it, here is a list of thrillers by Asian authors!

Young Adult Vampire Books that really bites

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I haven’t noticed many vampire books since Twilight. This is with young adult vampire books and adult vampire books as well. It seems like they tried selling Twilight, but we haven’t heard much about another vampire book since. At least I really haven’t heard anything.

Who knows maybe I just really haven’t been paying attention and there have been tons of vampire books that got a lot of hype after Twilight. I wish I had known about them to start off with! Most of these books I’m actually just finding out about so hopefully soon I can get to some of them.
