Who is ready for Christmas!? I know my husband and my son are. Now, for Christmas, I’m a little different. I used to love Christmas a ton, but as an adult, it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. I’m working on it, though, and one way I will try to get into the Christmas spirit is by reading Christmas thrillers.

If you’re here, then I’m assuming that you really enjoy thriller books. If that’s the case, then make sure to leave me a comment on what some of your favorite thrillers are. Bonus points if they are Christmas thrillers.

So, some of these are a little bit on the horror side. But there are a lot of times where thrillers and horror kind of coincide just a little bit. N0S4A2

Christmas thrillers

N0S4A2 is one Christmas thriller that I keep forgetting has anything to do with Christmas. Also, this is one that I have to read sometime soon. I loved the show for it and since the book is always bette,r I feel like I’ll like this one even more!

Here is what N0S4A2 is about.

Victoria has a special talent for finding things. It doesn’t matter what it is. On her old burner bike, she finds herself at a rickety covered bridge that, within moments, will take her wherever she needs to go. It doesn’t matter if it’s across the state or across the country.

Charles has a weird way with kids. He loves to take them for rides in his old car. But his car is special because it allows him to slip in and out of the “real” world. The hidden roads are able to take them to a terrifying playground he calls “Christmasland.”

Then one day, Vic finds herself in trouble when she finds Charles. It feels like a lifetime ago. She’s the only kid who has ever managed to escape his evil. Now she’s grown and wants to forget all about him, but Charlie has never stopped thinking about her. Now he’s on the road again, and he’s picked up a special passenger: Vic’s son.

You Better Watch Out

Christmas thrillers

You Better Watch Out is a Christmas thriller that just came out last year. I finished reading it not that long ago, and this is one of the Christmas thrillers you really need to add to your TBR.

The story is pretty fast paced, and I have a feeling that most of you are going to be mad about the ending just like I was. If you wind up reading this one then let me know what you thought in the comments.

Here is what You Better Watch Out is about.

There are forty-eight hours until Christmas, and Jessica wakes up with blurry eyes, ears ringing, and she’s in terrible pain. There’s a cut on her head and blood going down her face. The last thing she remembers is that she was out running and then someone or something hit her on the head. Pretty soon, after she realizes she’s trapped in a deserted town along with five other strangers. They aren’t sure of how or why they got there, but they have to find a way to get out. But that becomes almost impossible when there are traps at nearly every turn, and killing them off one by one. The town is fenced in, and it has become the killer’s playground. They’d better watch out, or they can be next.

25 days

Christmas thrillers

25 Days is one on this list that I actually haven’t heard of. Granted, this one does look more on the horror side of things, but maybe it wouldn’t be so bad for those of you who aren’t fans of horror.

This is one that I’ll probably be adding to my TBR next month, too.

Here is what 25 Days is about.

Adam is wanting his family to be closer, so he sets up a vacation in a secluded cabin on a mountain full of snow. Things get dark for them whenever someone starts to leave gifts in the christmas stockings on the barn door.

Each morning, there is something new, and every day that passes, the gifts get scarier. They eventual realized they’ve been dragged into a messed up game of secret santa. If they want to live, they are going to have to fight.

Scary book of Christmas Lore

This is another book that I haven’t read, but from what I’ve seen, a lot of people have read and enjoyed it.

I’m going to be honest, though. Usually, short stories are a bit of a struggle for me. A lot of the one’s that I’ve read just seem to have no point. No point, as the story is confusing to me, and I don’t understand what the author is trying to convey sometimes, or what the story is even truly about.

However, Scary Book of Christmas Lore seems to be a really promising book full of Christmas thrillers.

Here is what Scary Book of Christmas Lore is about.

Not all kids are scared of getting a lump of coal in their stockings. Find the scary Yuletide fables that have scared kids for generations. He knows if you’ve been good or bad, but there’s something sinister about him. Some beasts threaten to cook people. With loads of spooky lore in this book, is it beginning to look like Christmas yet?

Murder under the Mistletoe is one of those Christmas thrillers that kind of reminds me more of a cozy thriller. I can almost guarantee that it is.

If Cozy mysteries are your thing, then maybe you should check this one out.
