Mother's Day gift guide

Nearly every book lover is going to like at least something on this list. That is unless they are super picky and barely like anything at all. If that’s the case, then maybe that person just deserves a gift card.

Bookmarks

I feel like us readers could never have enough bookmarks. I always like being able to find cute ones and every so I often I will switch them out a bit. There are so many women (and maybe men) who read a lot of smutty romance books and for those that do I know they are going to laugh at the first bookmark. Heck I don’t even read smutty books but a part of me keeps laughing at it too!

I do have to say that I like the idea of the second one though. I don’t know why but I really like the idea of being able to keep a bookmark in the same spot and still be able to turn the pages. Maybe it’s just me though.

Tote

I know there are a lot of women out there who love Totes. I’m included in on that. Totes are like books and I feel like you can never have too many of them. Having them is a little different than having a purse that we carry around everywhere mostly because if we carried it in our puse it will get too heavy. I just had to have this on the Mother’s Day gift guide because I know just about all of us are carrying something with us!

I was able to find a few cute ones on Amazon including the both of these.

Which one do you like better?

Light/book light

Every book lover needs a book light! So, I feel like if your wife or mother reads a lot of physical books then this will probably be the most useful gift on this Mother’s Day gift guide. I’m not really sure if there’s anyone who doesn’t read physical books anymore and just reads on their kindle or phone. At least I know that I still love to read physical books and I know there are quite a few others out there who do too. I have a tendency to read a lot in the car and a lot of times when we’re driving lately it’s around night time so these come in handy!

If I’m going to be honest though I’ve had lights similar to the first one and I currently have one like the second one. Personally I have liked the second one so much better. One’s like the first one tend to not get bright enough or have a dull light and they leave shadows acrooss the book. When it comes to the second one the light seems so much brighter and covers both pages of the book so you don’t have to keep moving the light. But that’s just me though!

Candle

Honestly what would a vintage library even smell like? I see the other one is lavender but I’m sure both will smell amazing. I feel like using something like this may be a good idea to use if you have young kids. I’m meaning that you light the candle when you’re reading and it could be a good way to let them know to give you a little bit of a break while you’re reading. Obviously do something like this when they are able to play independantly or when someone is there with you!

I added this to the Mother’s Day gift guide because I know a lot of us like them. What more could she ask for than being able to have a relaxing afternoon to decompress.

Book embosser

I’ve been seeing a lot of readers using these things on their books a lot lately! I say this will be the perfect gift if you’re wife or mother is planning to have a home library. This is one thing that I can’t decide if I would want or not. Don’t get me wrong I would love to be able to have an at home library but there are times when I may want to sell my books later on. I guess this would be a thing to use for a book that you’re postive you are going to keep.

Socks

Who wouldn’t love a pair of socks!? Well maybe not kids but I know there are pretty comfy socks that many adults would want. I know socks as a gift isn’t going to be for everyone but I know there are many women out there who would love something like this.

It’s crazy how we grew up not wanting socks as a gift but now a lot of us would love them. Granted I know there are some mother’s out there who may not like this idea! If not, then that’s okay too! At least there are plenty of other ideas and not just socks.

Coffee Cup/Cup

I’m going to be honest, I don’t really drink coffee and honestly, I don’t even really like it. I do have to say that I would want these cups though. I don’t even know what it is about these cups that I find so cute! Heck I may even have to get one for myself even though I won’t be drinking coffee out of it.

I know there are a lot of mothers out there though that love coffee. This is what gives them energy and what’s able to make them wake up in the morning. So, if your wife or mother is a coffee drinker then this would probably be a great Mother’s Day gift!

Book Nook

I have always thought that Book Nooks are really cool and very pretty. I have wanted to get one for a while now but unfortunately, I have too many books and not enough bookshelves for it. I Have seen so many Booktokers and those on Instagram that has some of these and they always look so pretty on the shelves. Hopefully when we get to a bigger place, I’ll be able to get one of them!

If your wife or mother loves to decorate their bookshelves, then I highly recommend getting one of these! If you’re interested, then you can find some through the links below the pictures.

Stickers

I know many people who like to read like stickers, too. I mean, all of the fun people, including me. But I have also liked stickers since I was a young kid, and I used to collect them. I’m sure you’re wondering why I added this to the list, though. What in the world are you going to use stickers for? I have seen so many people who add stickers to their Kindle case! It’s really a good way to personalize them!

Eventually I’m going to have to buy a new kindle cover so I can add stickers to it. I’ll probably even have to add them to my journal and my planner to help decorate them a little better!

Jewelry

Who says your mom or wife wouldn’t want some jewelry? I know many of us do, except the few women who genuinely don’t like to wear them. I know there are some women out there who don’t like them, and that’s okay! I just know that I personally would like them, and I feel like there are others out there who would too.

Granted I know there are some women out there who probably wouldn’t like jewelry like this and would probably want something a little fancier. But I know there are quite a few women who really like to have jewelry that are a little bit more fun. Which one do you think your wife or mother prefers?

Did you find anything on this that you think the mother in your life will like? The list is long, and that kind of makes this the ultimate Mother’s Day gift guide for book lovers! I feel like pretty much any book lover is going to like at least one thing that’s on this list!
