About Creepers Stage Fright

Jo, Melissa, and Jenny are the stars of the school play as the three witches. Soon, they discover they are being granted their wishes, but every wish comes with a consequence. When they come face to face with the real witches and a ghost, they realize they have to do whatever it takes to stop the witches’ evil plan.

What I thought

I’m not fully sure how I feel about Creepers Stage Fright. The story has a really cool concept. It’s kind of cool that they play that they are doing was found in the school. What they thought was something that was written by someone at the school in the past, but they don’t know who. In reality, this whole plan is a curse. So that whole concept of the story is actually really cool. Who would think this about a play? No one would think that a play is cursed or that something terrible would happen after finishing it.

Also, I get that this story is not meant for an audience at my age. It’s for middle schoolers, and I knew that when I bought the book. I guess I just kind of wish that there was a little more oomph to the story and that it comes packing a little more to it.

There are quite a few middle-grade books that pack a little more punch. Stage Fright just had a lot more potential to it. With that being said, the book is still really good. It’s also a really fast read, too. If you’re a slow reader, I know most of you will still be able to read this in a day or at least come close to it.

I can’t wait to read more of the books in the series. I hope they are just as good as this one. They all look and sound pretty good, too!
